The 2004 Yarra Valley vintage was warm with yields higher than previous vintages producing grapes with balanced ripeness. The palate exhibits strong varietal and regional flavours of peach, nectarine and grapefruit. This wine was barrel fermented in new and seasoned french oak, producing layers of savory, toasty oak and a creamy yeast-less complexity. The wine is rich and full with balanced acidity and excellent length of flavour.
